All articles made of gold, silver, and other precious metals, jewels, real and imitation pearls and corals, amber, agate, tortoiseshell, human hair, embossed wax, common metals which are gilt or plated by real gold or genuine silver, or coated with a lacquer containing gold or silver (with the exception of the plated wires, sheets, and plates made of copper and brass), or composed of a combination of these materials, or of them with other materials (so far as they do not come in the category of dress and millinery), and goods of a similar kind.
