The establishment, which was founded in 1760, makes a specialty of medallions for wall decoration.. In 1871, the works used 6,100 centners of raw materials, worth 3,300 thalers. Thallmaier, Fr. X., München. Establishment founded in 1849. Exhibited services, dishes, vases, etc., beautifully decorated. Special mention should be made of a service with chrome-green groundwork, ornamented with arabesques and flowers, and of the artistic cabinet of porcelain paintings ; original copies after modern masters. Dressel, Kister & Co., Scheibe , Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt- Groups, statuettes, busts and porcelain figures. The market for these productions is about half at home and half abroad. Nearly 610 workmen are employed. Six water-wheels, 21 horse-power. Merit Medal.
